Elevating UX in Nokia GPT

4 months into my internship at Nokia, I joined the NokiaGPT project and supported the UX design of several feature improvements, collaborating closely with a team of engineers and receiving feedback from a senior designer during regular design reviews.
Impact: iF Design Award 2026; positive feedback from employees

Nokia RXRM: Accessibility Assurance

I audited and redesigned key screens in Nokia’s 360 streaming software against Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) in a way that is measurable and reproducible. I shared my process by contributing a guide and checklist back into Nokia’s design system.
Impact: identified 80+ issues and resolved 70+; checklist adopted in two other projects

About me

Background

I’m from Kyoto, Japan, now based in Espoo, Finland, working as a UX designer at Nokia. I moved to Finland in 2022 to pursue my interest in UX design at Aalto University, the 9th best art & design university in the world (QS, 2026). Currently, I’m improving the UX of several internal tools at Nokia, mainly related to enterprise and network systems. I’ve also been involved in other projects in the past, relating to VR experiences, touchscreen interfaces for hardware, and internal AI tools. I aspire to lead and manage design teams that contribute to high impact projects.

For fun…

I like playing volleyball, rambling with friends over coffee at a cafe, and going on nature walks. I am also a huge ramen enthusiast… if you're visiting Kyoto, I could give you a comprehensive google doc on the best ramen joints 🍜

Curious what we could achieve together?

Let's get in touch
