Who is Aili?
My multicultural background being an American and Japanese citizen has shaped my design approach to recognize and explore different perspectives. Since I appreciate different viewpoints, I enjoy problem-solving with people of diverse backgrounds and expertise. Teamwork is not only an enriching experience, but a way to cultivate better design solutions as well.

There is always something to be learned: Not just from people but from animals, nature, and inanimate objects. This mindset has helped me become an observant and inquisitive person, which are qualities that have helped me a lot being a product designer!
Stand in their shoes 👟👞🩴
Empathy helps build solid relationships between people, between users and products, and between customers and companies. That is why in my design processes and daily life, I try to stand in others' shoes as much as I can.
